In Tanzania pregnant girls are expelled from school. The pregnancies are often the result of rape or arise from ignorance. Every year, we offer 100 underage mothers without school-leaving qualifications the opportunity to take part in an economic training programme. In this way the young women gain the ability to start their own business or find employment. In this way, they escape poverty and secure their long-term existence.
