"We can't just let FIFA off the hook"

Competent panel guests, an exciting topic and attentive spectators: the panel discussion on 16 February 2017 on the topic "FIFA in Transition: Appearance or Being? The conclusion of the evening is just as clear: as much as FIFA is trying hard, the work is still very hard.

FIFA in transition: appearance or reality? To address this question, terre des hommes schweiz and Solidar Suisse invited a panel discussion to Zurich on Thursday 16 February. In a lively discussion followed by exciting questions from the audience, it became clear that FIFA is making progress in its efforts to achieve sustainable World Cup and European Championship games. However, these efforts are all still very recent and therefore their effects are not yet very visible. There is still a long way to go before everything turns out well. Or as SP National Councillor Min Li Marti noted: "We cannot simply let FIFA off the hook!
