The untimely death of our colleague Alexandre Queiroz Menezes fills us with great sadness. Alexandre worked as coordinator of the Brazil programme for terre des hommes switzerland since 2009. Guided by the vision of a fairer world, he worked tirelessly for the rights of disadvantaged young people. His actions have always been characterised by respect for the autonomy of partners and young people from the countryside and urban peripheries. He listened to individuals and encouraged them to find their way, never losing sight of the big picture. Alexandre, we will miss you very much!
