The armed conflict in Colombia has left deep scars. Violence and social inequality characterize the country still. Together with our local partner organizations, we strengthen the rights of young people, promote smallholder identity and support sustainable income initiatives for young people.
The district Aguablanca is one of of the poorest neighborhoods of Calithe third largest city in Colombia. Life is characterized by violence, drug trafficking and armed conflict. Displacement and land theft in Colombia are widespread. In the department of Antioquia many Farming families threatened and displaced by armed groups. With ourr Partnerorganization ACA we support young Small farmers*in the process of to joinssento avoid expulsion to counteract this. We also strengthen the cultural identity from Smallholder families and promote organic farming projects of young people.

Colombia is facing greatsschallenges challenges, including widespread poverty, social inequality and persistent violence. Despite of the 2016 peace agreement, the security situation remains instable and armed conflicts jeopardize peace.
