Religious or political ties must not be allowed to interfere with the charitable status of these relief organisations.
Conditions are: The governing body (board of directors) works on a voluntary basis. The annual accounts and compliance with ZEWO regulations must be audited by an independent auditor. Invoices, balance sheets, activity and audit reports must be submitted to ZEWO and disclosed to all.
