tschutti heftli - the collecting fever has started again

The big football festival World Cup 2018 is coming closer. Football fever is also rising in the terre des hommes schweiz team. This has also to do with the fact that the alternative football scrapbook tschutti heftli is once again our partner. This is no coincidence, because sport and football are important means of reaching young people.

This year the football world championship will take place in Russia. In a little more than a month the big football festival will start. The associated football fever is already spreading. This does not leave terre des hommes schweiz cold. And for two reasons: On the one hand, there are some big football fans in the team and on the other hand, tschutti heftli is our partner. And this partnership is no coincidence: in our projects, sport is often an efficient means of reaching young people on the margins of society.

A key role for football
In Zimbabwe and South Africa there is hardly a family that is not affected by the AIDS pandemic. Children and adolescents often suffer not only from the disease itself, but society stigmatizes them and excludes them socially. Sport and especially football play a decisive role in the projects. Especially ball sports and sporting events are a very effective means of mobilising young people in risk situations. For example, our partner organisations in South Africa and Zimbabwe organise football matches and tournaments to motivate girls and boys to take part in awareness-raising activities.

Nice partnership with tschutti heftli
The sports and football commitment of our partner organizations also impressed the tschutti heftli association. That's why terre des hommes schweiz is partner of the best-known alternative football album in Europe for the third time. Also this year, a part of the turnover of tschutti heftli goes to us as a donation. Therefore: you too can join in the collection!

We are also a point of sale
Collecting tschutti heftli albums and stickers has also become an integral part of major football events in our team. Not least because of this, our office has become a sales outlet. During opening hours there is always someone at Laufenstrasse 12 (9 to 12 and 13 to 17) to sell albums or stickers. In addition, we will also organize swap meets during the imagine Festival. They will take place on Friday from 19 to 20 hrs and on Saturday from 13 to 14 hrs and 16 to 17 hrs.
We are looking forward to your visit!
