Minors asylum seekers invite to summer party

Invitation:
On Saturday 23 August 2014, more than 70 unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people from the Lilienberg Centre in Affoltern am Albis invite all those interested to their self-organised summer party. The party is intended to provide an opportunity to get to know the young people in a relaxed atmosphere. After last year's open day, this is the second event of this project with underage migrants in Affoltern.

In recent weeks, the media has frequently reported about underage migrants from Central and South America trying to come to the USA. What has been completely forgotten in all the reporting about the USA is that there are also unaccompanied underage asylum seekers in Switzerland.
Bringing up your life in Switzerland
They live, among other places, in the Lilienberg Centre (run by the specialist organisation AOZ) in Affoltern am Albis and come from various places in crisis areas around the world and largely lead a shadowy existence in Switzerland. To show their life in Switzerland and to integrate them better into local structures, terre des hommes schweiz has started the MNA project (MNA mineurs non accompagnés) in 2012.
Summer festival with sports, music and dance
After last year's open day organised with terre des hommes schweiz and young people from imagine, the young people of the Lilienberg Centre once again invite all those interested to get to know them and their home. The summer party is largely planned, organised and implemented by the children and young people. Let the programme of sports, music and dance as well as the tasty food surprise you!
terre des hommes schweiz will again be present with a stand at the Lilienberg. We and the MNA Centre Lilienberg would be pleased to welcome you at the summer festival!
Program:
When: 23 August 2014 from 14.00 to 22.00
Where: MNA Center Lilienberg, Mühlebergstrasse 100, 8910 Affoltern am Albis
Programme: Start with a volleyball tournament, followed by goal wall shooting, guided tours and numerous performances by artists and bands
