The daily encounter with the new or unknown is sometimes met with curiosity or even uncertainty. imagine invites all interested people to deal with this topic and to make a short film about it. Prizes of up to Fr. 700 are awarded.

Lucy Elias, a staff member of our partner organisation Kivulini in Tanzania, was arrested by the police this week: The parents of a 17-year-old girl accuse her of helping her daughter to escape from the family. The girl had sought help from Lucy Elias because she is abused by her family.
Just the wrong place at the wrong time: At the beginning of November, two young people from our partner organisation Unidad de Organizaciones Afrocaucanas were killed and another girl was injured. It is likely that they were caught in the crossfire of two warring gangs.
Although there has been movement in the negotiations with the maras in El Salvador and hopes for peace have been raised, the criminal gangs have not stopped recruiting young people. A short update from our National Coordinator Annette Homlicher.
