The stage in the background of the square makes you imagine a big party.

The calm before the storm - the imagine festival 2013 is coming

We'll start on Friday. The imagine festival 2013 is about to break out. This year's motto "Racism makes you short-sighted" again gives hope for exciting installations and stands. One of these stands will be from terre des hommes schweiz and will present the topic of migration.

Apart from the stage there is not much to see yet. If you haven't already experienced it for yourself, it's hard to believe that in the next two days the now tranquil Barfüsserplatz will be transformed into an epicentre of Northwestern Switzerland's youth culture.

Good prospects
Despite a few potholes on the way to this major event (two cancellations of bands that could be successfully replaced), the young people of imagine have once again (almost) managed to organise the only annual anti-racism festival in Switzerland. And if the weather god also provides convertible weather, then the big festival must be a success.

More than just a party
To reduce this festival only to music and party would not do justice to the performance of the many young people. As they themselves write on their website: imagine is sensitization, imagine is youth participation and imagine is also culture. And it is exactly this mixture that terre des hommes schweiz is looking forward to.

terre des hommes switzerland on site again
This year, terre des hommes schweiz itself will again be represented with a stand at imagine and will present its work on the topic of migration. As a small attraction, visitors to the terre des hommes schweiz stand will have the opportunity to see themselves from a different perspective. In keeping with the festival's slogan: "It's all a question of perspective".
We would be pleased to welcome you at our stand.
