Minors asylum seekers invite to summer party

Invitation:
On Saturday 23 August 2014, more than 70 unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people from the Lilienberg Centre in Affoltern am Albis invite all those interested to their self-organised summer party. The party is intended to provide an opportunity to get to know the young people in a relaxed atmosphere. After last year's open day, this is the second event of this project with underage migrants in Affoltern.

Global sports events with rules of the game for the benefit of children

With Children Win, Terre des Hommes has launched a project that addresses the negative aspects of major sporting events on children's lives. The aim is to make those responsible for such events aware of their responsibilities. In the future, they should already plan measures against their negative consequences when awarding and preparing for such events.

For terre des hommes schweiz, the beginning of June is always a special time. That is when the imaginefestival takes place. The commitment and creativity with which the young people from imagine deal with socially relevant topics is impressive every year. A schappo for lived participation

The young people of imagine experienced a special honour last week: With the schappo, the canton of Basel-Stadt honoured their commitment in everyday life for a more open society. The commission especially likes the participatory approach of imagine. Year after year, the young people show that their commitment has an impact.

Hats off! imagine receives the schappo

Meanwhile the sparrows are whistling it from the roofs: Starting tomorrow, Thursday, imagine - the festival against racism will be among the winners of schappo. This prize is awarded by the canton of Basel-Stadt to initiatives that stand out for their special commitment. terre des hommes schweiz congratulates the young people on this award.
