Last Saturday, the cooperation between terre des hommes schweiz and the MNA Centre Lilienberg reached a preliminary climax: At a peaceful and beautiful autumn festival, the young asylum seekers presented their home countries to the visitors.

The centre for unaccompanied minor asylum seekers in Affoltern will open its doors on Saturday 19 October and invites you to visit. In addition to the opportunity to find out how the young people live at the Lilienberg Centre, they will present the results of their imagine-workshop "What is home?" to the visitors on this day.
Young asylum seekers who are in Switzerland without their parents or other persons with custody have worked out their answers and presentations on this question together with Swiss young people from imagine. Next week, the young people will now present their home countries during a tour of the Zurich Säuliamt.
imagine and terre des hommes schweiz participated together in the awareness raising event STEP into action. While imagine worked with the pupils in a workshop, terre des hommes schweiz' morphing module provided entertainment during the breaks.
"Home is where I can live in peace with my family and friends." This was one young man's answer to the question what home is for him. This week, the unaccompanied minor asylum seekers of the Lilienberg Centre dealt with such and similar questions in various workshops.
We'll start on Friday. The imagine festival 2013 is about to break out. This year's motto "Racism makes you short-sighted" again gives hope for exciting installations and stands. One of these stands will be from terre des hommes schweiz and will present the topic of migration.
The programme for the imagine festival in Basel on 7/8 June has been fixed! The names of the 19 bands who will play on Barfüsserplatz and Klosterhof stage have been announced this week. The line-up also includes more well-known bands such as the group Mo Blanc, which was nominated for the Swiss Music Award 2013.
"Fear of the unknown or courage to try something new?" With these words the advertising trailer for the imagine Webcam Contest starts. The daily encounter with the new or unknown is sometimes met with curiosity or even uncertainty. imagine invites all interested people to deal with this topic and to make a short film about it. Prizes of up to Fr. 700 are awarded.
